Recently Pelicram, our beloved master of hard-surface art and reimagination of historical armour has been diagnosed with a severe case of sleep apnea. This is a disorder that results in prolonged pauses of breathing during sleep. This creates a high probability of various negative effects: from a high level of tiredness to seizures and sudden death. According to medical studies, the risk of sudden death or heart attack for patients with sleep apnea is 30% higher over a period of four to five years.

Surely Pelicram has been offered a way to treat this disorder with a special device. But because of some technical issues in the healthcare system in Finland, he would be able to start the treatment only in 3 months.

And we definitely don't like the fact that for the next 3 months our friend and colleague will need to roll the dice every night to check whether he'll awake at all or not.
So we, along with Pelicram's doctors found a way to speed up the treatment and get the needed CPAP device much sooner - this week. But that also means that we need to pay for the use of this device.

That's why we decided to make a little charity crowdfunding for our friend.

  • We need to raise 600 Euros
  • The due date for payment is May 31st
  • The funds would be spent on paying for the use of a CPAP device for Pelicram
  • Any extra money (in case there would be any) would be either used for following treatment of Pelicram or donated to the medical charity funds.

To get this money we're releasing a special model - a bust of a Jouksuhauta Division veteran. Along with the fact that this model would serve a high cause, this is also a special model, cause it would be the first model that represents the infantry of the Juoksuhauta Division, heavily inspired by the Finnish armed forces.

If you'd like to donate money to Pelicram directly, you could also do that via PayPal: https://paypal.me/okoponen

Even if you couldn't donate the money to us, right now, please consider downloading the model, printing/painting it and posting photos on your socials to get more attention to it - this will help us raise the whole sum.
